Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end processing across multiple states for a large volume of employees
- Managing payroll compliance and award interpretation
- Processing superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax
- Handling new starters, terminations, and leave calculations
- Assisting with payroll reporting and reconciliations
- Responding to employee queries in a timely and professional manner
- Working closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate data flow
About You:
- Proven experience in a similar senior payroll role (high-volume processing essential)
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and modern awards
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently
- Experience with large ERP systems (e.g. Chris21, Preceda, Micropay or similar)
- Availability to start immediately or on short notice
