Overview
Step into a rewarding leadership role as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager at Yorketown Hospital , a vital rural health service in the Yorke Peninsula region.
Working across the ward and emergency department, you’ll provide clinical leadership, support the Nurse Unit Manager, and guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support nursing/midwifery staff in a hands-on clinical and supervisory capacity
- Assist in service coordination, staff development, rostering, and patient flow
- Promote evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to education, mentoring, and change management within the unit
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife
- Minimum 3 years post-registration experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical problem-solving skills
- Commitment to excellence in rural healthcare delivery
