About YOUR new Role
As the Senior HR Business Partner , you’ll take on a strategic and hands-on role supporting senior leaders across a fast-paced, operationally complex manufacturing environment. You’ll be a trusted advisor who brings insight, challenges thinking, and delivers people solutions that align with both short- and long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior operational leaders across multiple sites to drive strategic people initiatives
- Provide expert support in ER/IR matters, performance management, and workforce planning
- Lead change management, culture, and engagement programs across blue- and white-collar teams
- Analyse and interpret workforce data to drive decisions and continuous improvement
- Support site leaders in building leadership capability and managing talent pipelines
- Oversee and coach a small HR team, fostering development and accountability
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
- Collaborate on projects across diversity, wellbeing, and safety culture
You are a seasoned HR professional with experience working in large, operationally intensive environments—ideally in the manufacturing industry sector or similar. You have a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within a blue-collar workforce, and you’re confident managing industrial relations in unionised settings.
You will bring:
- Significant experience as a Senior HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role
- Demonstrated experience supporting heavy blue-collar environments
- People leadership experience – including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong influencing and problem-solving skills
- Solid working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial instruments
- Proven experience leading change and supporting leaders through transformation
