The Role: Commis Chef
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our kitchen brigade. This is an ideal opportunity for a passionate cook looking to grow their skills in a supportive and professional environment, working closely with an experienced and creative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily food preparation and service across a variety of sections.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Assist senior chefs with mise en place, prep, and plating.
- Show eagerness to learn, take feedback constructively, and contribute positively to the team.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or relevant culinary training.
- A passion for food and a genuine desire to develop professionally.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and remain calm under pressure.
- Interest in working with local, seasonal ingredients in a creative kitchen.
