The Role + You
As Director Commercial Management at Darling Downs Health, you'll lead strategic commercial operations that underpin the delivery of healthcare across our region. Your leadership will ensure critical services, property, fleet, supply chain, contracts and procurement, operate with purpose, efficiency and strong governance.
You'll work closely with senior leadership to align commercial functions with clinical needs, lead a high-performing team, and foster partnerships that add value. From negotiating major contracts to advancing sustainability and governance frameworks, you'll make decisions that shape a resilient, responsive and people-focused health service.
You'll thrive in this role if you're a commercially-minded leader who can see the bigger picture, motivate a team, and turn strategy into impact. You combine analytical capability with values-led leadership, and are ready to make a meaningful difference in regional healthcare.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Proven experience leading commercial or corporate services in large, complex, or government settings
* Strong commercial acumen across contract management, fleet, property or supply chain
* Demonstrated ability to lead change, inspire teams, and build stakeholder relationships
* A values-based leadership style grounded in compassion, integrity and accountability
* Qualifications in business, commerce, public administration or a related field
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in healthcare, regional service delivery or government asset management and a postgraduate qualification in leadership, business, or health administration.
