The pool stays current for 12 months and will allow applicants to be employed for short contract positions, up to 6 months in a range of schools across the region. The Student Wellbeing Workforce aims to ensure every Queensland primary and secondary state school student has access to a wellbeing professional at school. The focus of the role is to provide support for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns. Wellbeing professionals employed through the Student Wellbeing Workforce program work as part of schools' established student support teams to enhance the wellbeing and mental health support available to students.
Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position. Provisional psychologists and early career Psychologists are encouraged to apply. Supervision is provided, and supervision for the internship program and clinical registrar program can be provided for this position.
Students currently completing their studies are also welcome to apply but will not be interviewed until their university course is completed.
