About Grace

Considered Australasia’s largest independently owned company in our industry, we have been around for more than 100 years and we are leaders in the removals, storage and information management sector. With over 60 branches across Australia and New Zealand, and an extensive global partner network, we have a reputation for quality and service excellence. We promote positive team environments and our staff typically stay with us for the long term, some more than 40 years. We are looking for long term employees who want to grow with the business.

About the Role
We’re looking for motivated and reliable team players to join our friendly crew. This is a hands-on role where you’ll keep the warehouse humming, supporting our removalists on the ground. Your main focus will be operating forklifts and physically loading and unloading furniture and effects on the dock.

New to the removals industry? No problem. We’ll train you in the skills of careful packing, loading, and handling. Through our Skills Path development program, you’ll be supported to grow your career, whether that’s driving one of our trucks, leading the warehouse, or stepping into management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload vehicles and containers
  • Safely stow and unstow furniture and storage modules
  • Read and complete paperwork (tablet use may be required)
  • Maintain clean, tidy vehicles, warehouse, and equipment
  • Prepare trucks with materials and gear for daily runs
  • Manage stock and assist with incoming/outgoing deliveries

What We’re Looking For

  • Current LF Forklift Licence (required)
  • Friendly, honest and customer-focused attitude
  • Strong work ethic with a reliable and team-oriented mindset
  • Physically fit and safety-conscious
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Neat presentation and a positive, professional approach

What’s in It for You?

  • Competitive pay above award, plus super and overtime opportunities
  • Employee benefits including Perkbox, service awards, and staff incentives
  • Supportive team culture and excellent facilities
  • Ongoing training, development plans, and real career progression opportunities
