Our client is a private Landlord and development group that runs a small yet successful business across Sydney. This group is looking for a part time finance or accounting professional with a strong property background to join their team on a part time basis. They are currently building a beautiful new workspace, have plenty of street parking and are an easy walk to the train station. This role will see you step back from the high pressure of a corporate environment to a family friendly and stable team.

What will you be doing in this role:

• Read and understand leases, outgoings, increases, expiry dates etc
• Act as point of contact for managing agents
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Run reports – payments, budgets, outgoings for multiple entities
• Set up and manage property registers
• Review strata budgets
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Set up and manage filing systems
• Prepare email communication on behalf of the Director
• Reconciliations and entering invoices under multiple entities
• Prepare BAS for accountant to lodge
• Attend meetings and prepare reporting

The right candidate will have:

• Experience using MYOB
• A tertiary qualification in accounting or finance
• Experience working within property
• Ability to read ledgers
• Highly proficient with Excel
• Stable work history
• Strong written communication
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
