About the business
Mount Isa City Council provides employment for approximately 200 employees in a variety of full time, part time, contractual and casual positions.
These positions cover the full scope of Council operations from administration, financial, professional and technical roles to operational positions within the various sections.
About the role
To deliver the highest level of customer service to patrons to ensure the kiosk operates effectively and efficiently, by filling food and beverage orders, and handling of cash associated with pool admission and kiosk sales.

Skills and experience
- Ability to use electronic timesheet system or willingness to learn.
- Proven capacity to work outdoors in the heat for long periods of time.
- Conduct self in a professional and friendly manner to the public and centre staff.
- Current Blue Card or ability to obtain.
- Current Food Handling Certificate or ability to obtain.
