Leven Smash Repairs is looking for qualified and experienced Motor Mechanics to join our talented team in Mudgee NSW.Duties and Responsibilities:
* Examine vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components thoroughly to accurately identify any issues
* Evaluate vehicle computer and electronic systems for maintenance, repair, and potential upgrades
* Perform regular maintenance tasks such as fluid replacements and part lubrication to optimize vehicle performance and lifespan
* Plan and schedule future maintenance appointments while offering advice to drivers on proper vehicle care practices
* Address broken or malfunctioning parts by either repairing or replacing them, including fixing leaks
* Provide precise estimates regarding the cost, time, and effort required for repair or maintenance tasks
* Maintain detailed records of work performed and any issues encountered.
* Ensure that equipment and tools are well-maintained and in optimal working condition.
* Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing course of action
* Servicing and repairing electrical systems on light vehicles
* Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components
* Performing routine servicing and maintenance
* Repairing and replacing faulty wiring
Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
* Ideally have a minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified motor mechanic
* A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
* The ability to work in a team environment
Salary:
$70,000 - $72,500 per year (commensurate to qualifications, skills, & experience)
