With a team of over 170 staff , Brophy delivers an integrated suite of services across youth mental health, family support, housing, family violence, and early intervention , operating throughout Warrnambool, Hamilton, Portland , and surrounding communities. We are a financially sound , strategically mature , and culturally strong organisation governed by a committed community-based Board.

Brophy is defined by its 'Advantaged Thinking' approach - a practice framework grounded in recognising and fostering the strengths, aspirations, and potential of every individual we work with. We are proud to be an organisation where place-based leadership, innovation, and evidence-informed practice are embedded in all that we do.

The Opportunity

  • Actively contribute to sector leadership, advocacy, and place-based policy development.

About You

You are a seasoned and values-aligned executive leader with a demonstrated track record in leading complex, purpose-driven organisations, ideally in the community services, health, or broader not-for-profit sector.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in strategic leadership, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong understanding of regional and place-based service delivery and the role of community anchor organisations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
