We are excited to announce the position of Area Sales Manager has opened up in our team based in Eastern Creek, Sydney . Our business has experienced phenomenal growth over the past 2 years, and we are on the lookout for an experienced people leader to join us and help drive our Customer First philosophy.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Your new role will be to lead the Field Sales teams based in Sydney and Wollongong and deliver profitable sales growth and increased market share.
The role is critical to lead the development of our Field Sales teams capabilities and effectiveness through coaching and guidance - to realise deeper and stronger key customer relationships, ensuring all facets of the business relationship meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.
As a senior leader you play a key role in the contribution to and shaping of the Bullivants corporate strategy, customer value proposition and strategic sales planning.
You will work closely and collaborative across our National Field Sales teams and all other internal stakeholders to ensure successful workplace relationships and customer outcomes.
Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Leading, coaching, and developing your team to ensure exceptional sales outcomes.
- Contribute to the formulation of branch, territory and product sales and margin budgets.
- Review actual sales against budgets and take corrective action against discrepancies from the budget.
- Formulate and implement effective sales strategies in conjunction with the National Field Sales Manager to exceed sales and margin growth budget benchmarks
- Conduct regular fieldwork to help both develop the skills of sales team members and maintain regular frontline customer contact
- Effectively develop current and potential members of the external sales team to ensure the long-term success of the sales team
- Exceed sales and margin budgets through effective sales management and implementation of sales strategies
- Seeking and capitalising on growth opportunities through strategic planning and market analysis
- Nurturing key customer relationships by providing expert advice
- Prioritising personal and business safety at all times
To be successful, you will have:
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent organisational, time management, and project management skills
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including persuasion and negotiation abilities
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and effectively prioritise work
- Experience in managing teams and supporting their development
- Ability to coach, lead, and have performance discussions to support your team's growth and success
- A valid driver's license is essential
