Project Manager – Perth (Garden Island)

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver a defence project based at Garden Island, Perth. This role will play a key part in ensuring the successful execution of project deliverables across time, cost, quality, and safety, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of commercial construction projects valued from $5M–$20M
  • Coordinate planning, procurement, delivery, and project close-out
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders
  • Support and coordinate project teams to ensure collaborative and effective project delivery
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, forecasts, and progress reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all HSEQ requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Navigate complex operational environments, often within live or sensitive sites
  • Promote and reflect Barpa’s Blueprint values and commitment to Indigenous engagement
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience delivering commercial construction projects over $5M
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid commercial awareness and focus on project efficiency and value
  • Competent in MS Project and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Experience on Defence or Government projects will be highly regarded
