Description:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Fleet Diesel Mechanic (Road & Rail) to join our distribution team in Townsville.
Your primary goal is to ensure our assets are well-maintained, fully operational, and safe to use. This includes performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our HyWay prime movers, pneumatic tankers, and associated rail assets. You’ll be a part of a small but dynamic team working to achieve fleet availability goals.

Your Opportunity
- Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 4:00PM with opportunity for additional overtime.
- Maintain a fleet of North American prime movers and pneumatic tankers in accordance to Cement Australia’s national maintenance policy and relevant Australian standards.
- Ensure the prompt and accurate completion of repair and maintenance documentation.
- Keep the workshop area clean, tidy and maintained to our SHE standards.
- Become a valued member of the national fleet maintenance team.
What You’ll Bring
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic
- Experience of repairing and maintaining a fleet of premium prime movers and tankers.
- A strong commitment to working safely and fostering a positive safety culture.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a focus on meeting KPI’s.
- Be prepared to participate in a rostered after-hours equipment break down support team.
