This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Project Director to manage a large-scale project to replace Legal Aid Queensland’s (LAQ’s) core business system, LAQ Office. This is an important technology project that requires the expertise of an experienced project manager. This role will lead this complex project from procurement to implementation.About Us

About The Role
As Project Director, you will manage a large-scale project to replace Legal Aid Queensland's (LAQ's) core business system, LAQ Office. This is an important technology project that requires the expertise of an experienced project manager. The business case and project artifacts have been prepared and funding has been secured for this 2-year project. This role will lead this complex project through procurement to implementation.
In This Role You Will
- Manage the Legal Services System (LSS) Project to replace LAQ's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Establish the project team including the appointment and onboarding of project resources.
- Manage the project team to achieve results while fostering a positive culture.
- Manage the procurement, evaluation and selection of the CRM provider and manage the engagement process.
- Manage the project in accordance with the project plan, benefits realisation plan, communication and stakeholder management plan, and risk management plan.
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the change to provide a smooth transition and adoption of the new CRM.
- Provide advice to the Project Executive Director about project risks, timeframes, resourcing and budget.
- Prepare briefing notes, reports and other project artifacts to the LSS Project Board.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee resource allocation and monitor the budget to ensure costs are contained within budget parameters.
