To continue our success, we are looking for a Junior Category Manager to drive category growth and merchandising excellence! As a Junior Category Manager, you’ll partner with the Category Manager to deliver impactful range reviews, uncover performance opportunities, and implement 4P strategies. Own end-to-end customer range reviews, execute PepsiCo initiatives flawlessly, and help shape winning assortments for Woolworths Supermarkets.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute full Category Review campaigns, ensuring flawless planning and implementation.
  • Own end-to-end range review processes across multiple aisles (Biscuits, Health Food, International, Deli) for Woolworths.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations on assortment, space allocation, category flow, and merchandising strategies to drive growth.
  • Integrate pricing, promotion, and innovation strategies into reviews while positioning PepsiCo for competitive advantage.
  • Analyze category performance and ROI, document learnings, and maintain tools to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and Woolworths stakeholders, acting as the voice of the customer and supporting IBP cycles and Store of the Future priorities.

Qualifications

About you:

  • 2-3 years of FMCG experience with strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commerce, Economics, or Business (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in data tools like Nielsen/Aztec (scan & panel) and Quantium for analysis and reporting.
  • Category management experience through direct category roles or customer-facing sales roles with range review exposure.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with merchandising tools (Efficient Assortment, Space Planning), cross-functional collaboration, and strong relationship-building skills.
