Description:
- Administer head contracts and subcontracts from award to close-out
- Prepare/assess progress claims, variations, EOTs and notices
- Draft/let subcontracts; manage insurances, securities and compliance
- Translate drawings/specs into clear scopes, cost and program impacts
- Maintain rigorous records, RFIs and change registers
- Support procurement strategy and trade coverage; nurture subcontractor relationships
- Partner with PM/site on pre-tender walks, kick-offs and site instructions
- Report cost, cash flow, exposure and claims status to GM/PM
- Champion safety, quality and contractual risk controls
Requirements:
A successful Contracts Administrator should have:
- Proven Contracts Admin experience on WA industrial/commercial projects ($1.5m-$30m+)
- Strong grasp of AS forms (e.g., AS4000/AS2124), claims/EOTs/dispute avoidance
- Advanced Excel; Procore (or similar PM platform) advantageous
- Confident converting drawings/specs/reports into scope and cost outcomes
- Clear communicator who asks great questions, takes meticulous notes and follows through
- Local market knowledge of trades/suppliers
