The Opportunity

Due to expansion and new clients coming online for 2026, SIRROM has an immediate opportunity for a Recruitment Officer to be one of three in the recruitment team, supporting our growing business by seeking and finding suitable candidates to be great ambassadors and leaders of Sirrom.

As the Recruitment Officer you will reporting to the Talent Acquisition Advisor and will play a crucial role in supporting our operations, Site Managers and business by shortlisting and floating suitable candidates to be considered for site vacancies.

This role would be ideal for an experienced person with a strong focus on candidate engagement, who enjoys building relationships and rapport, working at pace and making a real impact for others into FIFO hospitality roles.

Primary Responsibilities May Include

  • Ability to pick up the phone and converse comfortably
  • Reviewing and shortlisting applications
  • Phone screening potential candidates
  • Delivering information sessions to large numbers of people
  • Recruiting for multiple roles e.g. Head Chefs, Sous Chefs, Village Managers, Utility personnel at the same time
  • Comfortable with Face to Face interviews or via teams
  • Establish lasting relationships with hiring managers to understand their site needs
  • Multi-tasking
  • Ability to prioritize roles
  • Effective and productive with time management

What is required?

Pre-requisite

Our ideal candidate will have experience working within the resources, facility management, hospitality and mining sector in a similar role. Other key skills, experience, and qualifications include:

  • Proficient experience using recruitment platforms, Job Adder desirable
  • Ability to engage and build rapport over the phone and face to face with candidates
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisation
  • Confidence using systems, databases and Microsoft office
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with recruiting FIFO hospitality roles such as Head Chefs, Village Managers, Site Administrators, Utility workers
  • People Person
  • Creative thinker
