Description:
This Financial Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets and improve financial efficiencies.
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports to stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor the Accounting & Finance team to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to create and implement financial strategies.
- Manage cash flow and financial risks effectively.
- Work closely with external auditors during audits and ensure accurate financial documentation.
Requirements:
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial management within the Financial Services industry.
- Big-4 or mid-tier audit background preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
