The Opportunity
We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative team in Adelaide . As a member of our team, you'll be able to work on a variety of dynamic and complex multi-discipline projects within the Energy, Chemicals and Minerals Processing sectors. Join our team to further develop your experience and apply your technical expertise to engineering design and deliverables on projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural engineering for processing plant facilities from concept through to detailed design and construction.
- Performing design calculations for structural steel work and structural concrete and providing input to the designer team.
- Performing tasks and deliverables within the agreed budget, schedule and project scope.
- Completing work in compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.
- Cultivating a safety-focused culture and work environment.
Skills and Experience:
If you're a self-motivated, results-driven individual passionate about delivering high-quality structural engineering designs, with a developed technical design background and demonstrate the following attributes;
- Tertiary degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- A minimum 5-years structural engineering design (steel and concrete) experience.
- Experience in Heavy Industry, Minerals Processing, Energy or Chemicals industry preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in performing design calculations.
- Exposure to project delivery from concept through to construction on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Provide design input to and check 3D models and drawings.
- Experience with SPACE GASS.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and critically.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive and goal-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
