About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Psychologist to join our practice in Cairns, QLD. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy to a diverse client base within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments- Develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based treatment plans- Conduct psychological assessments - Provide therapeutic interventions including EMDR and psychological therapies- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to support holistic client care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records- Complete reports as requested to ensure continuation of care for clients needs- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to personal and practice growth
What We’re Looking For
AHPRA Registration as a Psychologist or other mental health trained professional- Training in EMDR highly desirable(Experience with EMDR not required, as professional guidance can be provided) - Experience providing psychological assessments and interventions- Strong clinical skills and experience with diverse populations- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- Commitment to ongoing learning and reflective practice
