Join Place Estate Agents as a Bookkeeping & Payroll Officer!

Are you ready to take your career to the next level and be a vital part of a dynamic and thriving real estate team? Place Estate Agents is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeping & Payroll Officer to join our Place HQ office in Fortitude Valley.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide bookkeeping services for high performing agents across the Place network.
  • Manage payroll across multiple Place offices, including staff salaries and commission calculations.
  • Process quarterly bonuses, payroll tax submissions and superannuation payments.
  • Collaborate with office managers, employees and business owners.
  • Raise commission invoices and reconcile bank accounts and credit cards.
  • Process bill payments and conduct quarter-end reporting for external accountants.
  • Liaise with the Place Contracts team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support lead agent teams with financial and administrative tasks.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative assistance as needed.

Skills & System Experience

  • Minimum of 2+ years experience with complex payroll processing OR bookkeeping.
  • Experience with the following systems is highly advantageous; Employment Hero, Xero.
  • Precision and accuracy are key in this role. You should be meticulous in your calculations, ensuring that all financial records are error-free.
  • Be prepared to tackle challenges and find creative solutions. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes with ease.
