Description:
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Handle payroll-related queries and provide timely resolutions.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure proper calculation and remittance of superannuation, taxes, and other statutory obligations.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support audits by providing necessary payroll data and documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
- Ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally either in a standalone position or in a small team.
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation , awards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with wider teams.
