- The Opportunity:
- FGB is seeking to appoint an experienced, values-driven Non-Executive Director to join our Board. This role will provide independent oversight, strategic guidance and governance leadership at a time of continued growth, brand expansion and product innovation.

- As a long-standing Australian manufacturer and consumer brands business with a commitment to natural health products and responsible business practices, FGB is looking for a Non-Executive Director who can bring contemporary governance capability alongside commercial insight, product innovation understanding, and strong business networks across FMCG, pharmaceutical, retail or manufacturing sectors.
- About You:

- Essential Attributes
- AICD membership and/or formal governance qualifications
- Senior leadership experience in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing or related sectors
- Demonstrated commercial, channel or manufacturing expertise
- Proven business networks across retail, wholesale, pharmacy or manufacturing
- Strong financial literacy and capability to interpret financial statements, balance sales/costs/profitability and understand capital requirements
- Practical experience with risk management frameworks, risk registers and compliance systems
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate strategy into measurable business outcomes
- Demonstrated integrity, independence and values-based decision making
- Collaborative leadership style and strong interpersonal skills
- Emotional intelligence and the ability to support constructive Board culture
- A genuine interest in contributing to FGB’s long-term sustainability and success
- Desirable Attributes
- Legal knowledge and experience relevant to Company matters and Board obligations
- Experience in R&D product development and innovation
- Understanding of regulatory environments (e.g., TGA, safety & quality systems)
- Experience with ESG strategy, sustainability and governance reporting
- Key Expectations:
- The successful Non-Executive Director will be expected to commit to the following:
- Attend a minimum of six Board Meetings per year, including any additional ad-hoc sessions as required.
- Work minimum 2 days per month
- Participate in FGB’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and provide appropriate support and oversight in preparation for the meeting.
- Review monthly Board Packs, providing constructive feedback, insights, and challenge to ensure strong governance and informed decision-making.
- Actively contribute to Board Committees, which may include Audit, Risk, Remuneration, Governance, or other committees aligned with your expertise.
- Engage directly with Senior Management on special projects, strategic initiatives, and key business priorities where independent input, oversight, or specialist guidance is beneficial.
