Description:
-
Support day-to-day finance operations including creditors, debtors, cash receipting, and staff finance/payroll queries -
Maintain the general ledger up to trial balance, including journals, reconciliations, and month-end support -
Assist with monthly and ad hoc reporting, including budget vs actual and cash flow reports -
Support annual budget preparation and monitor expenditure against budgets -
End-to-end payroll processing via Employment Hero, including acting as backup during leave periods -
Prepare payroll and compliance reporting, including BAS, FBT, and payroll reconciliations (payroll to GL) -
Assist with funding and grant administration, including monitoring expenditure and acquittals -
Assist with audit preparation, including schedules and supporting documentation
Requirements:

Previous experience in an accounting or finance role -
Bachelor of Accounting or similar qualification (preferred) -
Strong payroll experience, ideally using Employment Hero -
Experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements -
Confident with reconciliations, reporting, and Excel -
High attention to detail with strong organisational skills -
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities -
Professional, reliable, and discreet -
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
