About The Role
Be part of Hismile’s finance team, supporting accounting, compliance, and reporting functions across our global operations while working closely with and learning from senior members of the finance team. You’ll collaborate with teams across multiple departments, assist with commercial projects, and contribute to financial insights that support smarter business decisions.
This is a development-focused role with clear processes, oversight, and support. You’ll build strong accounting foundations, gain hands-on experience across a global business, and gradually take on increased responsibility as your skills and confidence grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounting for all entities across Hismile’s brand (Australian and international), including reconciliations using Xero and Excel
- Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including processing invoices and bills
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts and annual financial statements for multiple entities
- Support the preparation of monthly BAS returns and other compliance requirements, across a variety of jurisdictions.
- Assist with external audits and audit-related requests under the guidance of senior team members
- Assist with ad-hoc commercial projects and business improvement initiatives
- Undertake data analysis across business units to support the delivery of timely, value-adding insights
- Support the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and uphold trust across the business
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently completing)
- CA or CPA qualification (or working towards) preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and a developing problem-solving skillset
- Comfortable asking questions and learning from feedback
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Confidence using financial systems and Excel (or willingness to learn quickly)
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
