Description:
- Develop and implement reliability strategies to optimise equipment performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve asset reliability and minimise downtime.
- Monitor and evaluate equipment performance metrics to recommend improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Support the Capital Projects teams in project definition and delivery, this includes providing guidance on the maintenance strategy to the Operational Readiness teams
- Support maintenance teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reliability processes and practices.
Requirements:
A successful Specialist Reliability Engineer should have:
- Qualifications in engineering (Mechanical, Civil or Mechatronics) or a related field.
- Experience/knowledge of track maintenance activities
- Proven expertise in reliability engineering within the rail and natural resources industry.
- Skills and Knowledge of track design and foundations and engineering is highly advantageous
- Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
- Familiarity with reliability tools and software.
- Commitment to safety and compliance in engineering practices.
