Description:
Finance Leadership & Governance
- Lead the end-to-end finance function, including financial control, FP&A, and transactional finance
- Ensure strong governance, internal controls, and compliance across all finance activities
- Act as a key finance representative in executive and board-level forums
Financial Reporting & Control
- Oversee month-end, half-year, and year-end close processes
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory financial reporting in accordance with AASB and, where applicable, ASX requirements
- Maintain accounting policies, technical papers, and financial governance frameworks
Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management
- Oversee enterprise-wide budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide financial insights, performance analysis, and commentary to executive leadership
- Support strategic planning, capital allocation, and investment decision-making
Regulatory, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with financial services regulatory requirements
- Oversee tax compliance including BAS, GST, FBT, PAYG, and income tax
- Support risk management, audit, and control assurance activities
Audit & External Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and advisors
- Lead audit processes and oversee remediation of audit findings
- Support investor and stakeholder reporting requirements
Systems, Process Improvement & Scalability
- Drive continuous improvement in finance systems, processes, and reporting capability
- Support system implementations and process automation initiatives
- Ensure the finance function is scalable to support growth and increased complexity
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance leaders and teams
- Build a high-performance finance culture focused on accountability and insight
- Support succession planning and capability development within finance
Requirements:
- CA or CPA qualified
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or equivalent)
- Experience within PE-backed, ASX-listed, or regulated financial services environments strongly preferred
- Strong technical accounting and governance capability
- Commercially minded with experience supporting executive and board decision-making
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on involvement
