Description:
Reporting to the CFO and Company Accountant, you will join a collaborative finance team of six in a hands-on Finance Officer role. This position has a strong focus on Accounts Payable for subcontractors, with exposure to Accounts Receivable and job costing.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys transactional finance, values accuracy, and wants to be part of a business modernising its systems and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end Accounts Payable for subcontractors (majority focus of the role)
- Processing approximately 20-30 contractor invoices per week
- Supporting job costing by entering quote data and highlighting margin variances
- Working across Xero, D365 (for reporting), and other cloud-based systems
- Liaising closely with operations and corporate services teams on-site
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar Finance Officer or Accounts Payable role
- Strong AP capability and high attention to detail
- Confidence working with ERP systems and Excel
- The ability to work collaboratively with operational stakeholders
- A proactive, adaptable mindset and willingness to support a growing business
