Biosecurity Queensland plays a vital role in securing the state's agricultural prosperity and preserving and protecting the health of our environment and economy. Invasive Plants and Animals (IPA) significantly affect the environment, agricultural production, infrastructure, human health and our way of life in general. The IPA program directs, facilitates and delivers strategic and targeted action to reduce the impact of invasive species in Queensland.
As An Executive Services Officer, You Will
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the General Manager to ensure operational delivery is robust and efficient and business improvements are delivered.
- Effectively plan, prioritise work, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality and work autonomously using a high level of initiative and self-motivation to assist in the effective management of incoming requests, responding to outstanding queries and requests for information and resolving issues.
- Support a positive culture within the office utilising strong interpersonal communication to enable delivery of effective and timely administrative services.
