Manager - Grants Administration, Community RecoveryYour Contribution
As the Manager, Grants Administration, you will lead a team to review the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) Category A and B grant programs managed by the Community Recovery Grants Administration team.
You will drive the review process, ensuring alignment with DRFA 2018 guidelines and departmental priorities. Key responsibilities include managing project phases, engaging stakeholders, providing change management advice, and identifying opportunities for program improvements.
Your leadership will deliver a comprehensive Grants Program Review Report with actionable recommendatons to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of disaster recovery grants.
Your Responsibilities
As a Manager, you will:
- Provide coordination and support in relation to critical projects as it moves through different lifecycles and work fronts of the project.
- Establish comprehensive project management and implementation plans to facilitate new programs for the branch.
- Provide a high level of user support and communication and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Effectively manage and provide leadership, supervision and support to your team and manage your team's budget, administration and reporting systems.
- Identify opportunities to partner with external government agencies to leverage their capabilities and develop business cases to support new program of works in this space.
- Ensure programs are aligned with the strategic direction of the Department, business areas and whole-of-Government meeting organisational capacity and budget requirements.
- Provide advice on business issues relating to change management as a result of the implementation of, or changes to any programs.
