The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:
- Experience across a broad range of HR functions including health, safety and wellbeing, employee relations, recruitment and selection, performance and conduct management, policy development, organisational change and development.
- Ability to work as an internal HR advisor / business partner providing operational and strategic advice tailored to business needs, understanding the organisation's operations, drivers and challenges.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft correspondence, briefing notes, reports, policy documentation, work instruction and selection documentation.
- Capability to work with limited direction, prioritising competing tasks, and managing complex, possibly multi-disciplinary HR matters.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, industrial instruments, employment law, public sector directives, , equal employment opportunity, and diversity and inclusion principles.
