Description:
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full contract lifecycle across low- to medium-value corporate contracts
- Leading front-end procurement activity including RFQs, sourcing strategies and contract execution
- Supporting post-award contract administration, variations, renewals and claims management
- Assisting with dispute resolution processes for contractual claims as required
- Ensuring all contracts are managed within the contracts management system
- Adhering to strict governance, compliance and approval frameworks
- Supporting transactional procurement tasks including requisitions, receipting and purchase orders
- Collaborating with group functions (ICT, HR, Risk, Facilities) and site stakeholders
- Supporting minesite operations during the rehabilitation phase as required
- Attending contract progress meetings and identifying commercial and contractual risk
- Maximising commercial value through disciplined contract administration practices
- Assisting with forecasting accuracy and project readiness through sound commercial support
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a procurement and contracts role within a structured corporate or asset-heavy environment
- Strong front-end procurement capability across sourcing, RFQs, contract drafting and renewals
- Solid post-award contract administration experience including variations and claims
- Experience working within formal governance frameworks, approval processes and compliance requirements
- Confidence operating with a high level of autonomy from an early stage
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across corporate functions and operational teams
- Experience supporting transactional procurement tasks (PRs, receipting, PO management)
- Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
- Experience managing lower-value, high-volume corporate contracts
- Background in mining, energy, infrastructure or similarly regulated industries (highly regarded)
- Experience working within a small team environment and covering for peers when required
