With a distinctive record of growth in research and deep partnerships across government and industry, Flinders University's College of Science and Engineering is seeking capable and dedicated academic leaders in Sustainable Energy Systems to join as Professors (Level E) or Associate Professors (Level D).
These appointments will place you at the heart of a modern and ambitious research agenda. You will lead globally impactful research, education, and industry partnerships that extend Flinders University's national and international reputation. You will have the opportunity to build new teams, secure major research funding, and collaborate widely across academia, government, and energy industry partners in Australia and beyond. Areas of specialisation include renewable energy generation and integration, energy storage technologies, smart grid systems and control, energy systems modelling and optimisation, power electronics and conversion systems, and sustainable energy materials and technologies. Working within the Flinders College of Science and Engineering, you will help deliver innovative solutions to real-world energy challenges driving Australia's transition to net-zero emissions.
