The Higher Degree Research (HDR) Senior Candidature Officer (International) supports the end-to-end administration of HDR students, with a strong focus on international candidature. Working within the Office of Graduate Research, the role provides expert advice, case management and coordination to ensure clear, student-centred pathways from admission through to completion, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
In this position, you will also:
Provide accurate, timely advice on HDR policies and processes, with a focus on international HDR candidatures in relation to admissions, progression, supervision and examination Manage HDR candidature administration and academic records, ensuring compliance and data integrity Deliver case management support and resolve complex HDR student matters in collaboration with senior staff Prepare reports, committee documentation and insights to support informed decision-making across the UniversityAbout You

You communicate clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders, including international students, and are able to balance competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism and a strong service ethic. Key Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying complex policies, procedures and legislative requirements within higher education Strong experience managing detailed administrative processes and maintaining accurate records in complex student or candidature management systems Knowledge of, or experience working with, international student frameworks including ESOS, visa policies and the National CodeAbout the Office of Graduate Research:
