Are you looking for an opportunity to create a substantial impact on business profitability? The Recommerce role at Amazon's Fulfillment Centers (FCs) can provide that opportunity. This role focuses on maximizing value recovery from customer returned units in APAC region through refurbishment and warehouse deals in close collaboration with the Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES), Learning & Development (L&D), Products, and business partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for topology definition fr customer returns and reverse logistic, implementing incremental value recovery capabilities in our fulfillment centers, enabling us to recover maximum value from returned units.
To be successful, you will need excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders. While operating in FC operations, you will interface with Engineering, Category, Finance, Procurement, Data Science, and Returns and Customer Experience (RCX) teams to identify and execute solutions that improve recovery.
This opportunity requires excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, as well as the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and technical environment. Ownership of your work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of driving operational improvements and new launches within FC/operations. The ideal candidate is motivated, optimistic, and agile, with strong time management skills.


Key job responsibilities
• CRET Capacity Planning: Analyze the volumes of customer returns, identify capacity needs and work closely with local supply chains from AU, SG and ZA to identify space, number of stations and any topology improvement for customer returns.
• CRET center launches: you will be in charge of the launch planning for any new CREt capability: space design, station design and volume allocation
• Deep diving and analyzing operational data to arrive root causes for loss of value at FC Customer Returns (CRET) processes - invent or replicate solutions to those root causes, track impact.
• Improve efficacy of operational capabilities at CRET incl. Standardization of metrics, processes, SOPs across APAC and Rest of the World (RoW) markets related to value recovery
• Develop deep subject matter expertise.
• Driving product and/or process solutions to improve value recovery and implement them in FCs

Basic qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of Operations/process improvements/ new launches experience
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
Preferred qualifications
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
• Knowledge and experience in Capacity planning, supply chain, Operations and/or waste reduction, process improvements in FC processes, additional knowledge on business impacts preferred.
• Experience owning and improving operational processes, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements. Existing Knowledge or ability to learn analytical tools will be helpful.
• Experience or willingness to learn data analytical tools is preferred.
