About The Role
Suitable for a team player who has the flexibility, skills, knowledge and a positive outcome driven approach to provide customer service, programs and resources that meet the needs and interests for all in the community.
This position provides an opportunity to undertake a variety of tasks to support Brimbank’s diverse community. From friendly and welcoming face to face customer service to helping to find information and learning resources, supporting the use of technology, assisting to find a great book or to program delivery.
Hours are spread across the week and include a late shift to 8pm and a one in four Saturday shift. Additional shifts including Sundays are available as overtime.
Staff are required to work across any of the library locations based at Deer Park, Keilor, St Albans, Sunshine and Sydenham.

A passion for promoting literacy, and experience working in a culturally and linguistically diverse and busy environment
