About The Role
We're looking for a General Manager to join our Operations Team. Reporting to the CEO, you'll lead the launch of MealSuite's first operational footprint in Australia to support expansion into the local market. You will build and oversee a local implementation and support presence, elevate industry visibility, and ensure strong operational alignment with our established North American teams. This is a foundational leadership role focused on building a high-performing local team, creating strong operational infrastructure, representing MealSuite within the industry, and ensuring alignment with our established North American operations.
What You'll Do
- Build and reinforce MealSuite's culture and values across the Australian office.
- Serve as the senior people leader for local teams, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and talent development
- Act as the communication bridge between North American teams and local staff to ensure operational alignment.
- Oversee day-to-day‑ operations including budgeting, vendor coordination, policy adherence, and administrative functions.
- Approve and manage local budgets and expenses while partnering with Finance on tracking and audits.
- Manage local IT infrastructure, access, and compliance requirements (including SOC2).
- Identify and participate in key residential aged care‑ conferences and industry events to elevate brand presence.
- Develop local partnerships to support reseller and partner growth‑ initiatives.
- Track and report key operational KPIs to leadership on a weekly/monthly basis
- 5+ years of experience in operations, team or location management
- Experience building, scaling and managing teams in a multi-function environment (support, implementation, services, or similar)
- Experience leading through influence - upholding process follow through, operational structure, process and accountability
- Experience working in a SaaS environment is considered a strong asset
- Strengths in communication, collaboration, organization, and partner management
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally; valid passport with no travel restrictions (Canada/USA; Vietnam if required)
