Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Site Supervisor role located in Sydney, supervising the construction of a two-storey multi-residential building. The Site Supervisor will oversee daily construction operations, ensuring the project is completed on time, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising construction activities, managing tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining project documentation. The Site Supervisor will also conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans and proactively address any issues that arise. Close collaboration with project teams and stakeholders is essential for the successful management of multiple ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in site supervision, team management, and familiarity with project management processes.
- Extensive knowledge of workplace safety standards, compliance, and risk management within the construction industry.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to handle day-to-day operations and resolve challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering plans and construction documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for coordinating with tradespeople, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in construction, safety management, or project supervision are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction software and tools for scheduling, reporting, and tracking project progress is beneficial.
- Experience with local regulations and standards in Sydney and New South Wales is preferred.
