Description:
As an Assistant Accountant at ORIX, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the Fleet Services Division. You’ll ensure reconciliations, payments, and month-end tasks are completed accurately and on time, while working closely with internal stakeholders across the business.Included In What You'll Do
- Reconcile cash book items, bank transactions, and EFT payments.
- Process system and manual direct debits.
- Prepare payments to external financiers
- Support daily and monthly reconciliations across Fleet Accounts.
- Assist with month-end journals, reporting, and GL reconciliations.
- Provide accurate data and support for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation and assist with ad hoc queries and tasks.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience.
- A Commerce/Business degree in Accounting.
- Strong Excel and systems skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and in a team.
- A proactive, hands-on approach.
