Description:
- Develop and execute national sales strategies in collaboration with international industry directors and regional sales teams.
- Build new sales channels and foster strong relationships with resellers, distributors, and key business partners.
- Own national sales targets, consistently achieving and exceeding KPIs across HV and power industry markets.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly to customers and internal teams, supporting both sales and product understanding.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, workshops, and industry events, including delivering technical presentations where required.
- Support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and promote safe work practices in all business activities.
- Utilise CRM tools and sales systems to manage pipelines, customer interactions, and reporting.
- Strengthen and expand channel partner capabilities through training, market insights, and product guidance.
- Travel regularly across Australia, with occasional international trips for training or strategic meetings.
- Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge through ongoing internal training, ensuring strong understanding of new HV solutions and technologies.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent trade experience.
- Minimum 5 years' sales experience, ideally within electrical instrumentation, HV testing, or power industry environments.
- Operational understanding of electrical test equipment and industries such as utilities, substations, or transformer services.
- Formal sales training in areas such as closing strategies, objection handling, and conflict resolution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build long‑term customer relationships.
- High integrity, strong problem‑solving ability, and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Comfortable working autonomously, managing remote relationships, and collaborating within a global matrix structure.
- Experience with national travel; international travel exposure is advantageous.
- Familiarity with product service processes - including calibration and repair workflows - is desirable.
- Competent in analysing market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to drive informed decision‑making.
- Well‑developed networking skills within the electrical testing, power, or industrial sectors.
