About The Role
The Departmental Liaison Officer role is based at 1 William Street, Brisbane. While the role allows for flexibility in working from home, regular in-person attendance at 1 William Street is required. Contact outside of business hours may also be required due to the nature of this role.
In this role you will play a crucial part in coordinating accurate and timely advice on complex QBCC procedures, managing communication of parliamentary information, and developing strategies to improve QBCC processes. The DLO will also handle complaints, manage correspondence and briefing requests, and coordinate briefings for the Minister's regional visits.
The role requires experience in Ministerial correspondence and briefings and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Successful candidates will also demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting priorities, build networks, and work collaboratively.
