Your contributionProvide advice, support and assistance to maintain accurate and effective office and information systems including administration information, management of financial systems in relation to the operation of the Service Centre and associated facilities and to provide administrative support as required.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Administration Officer you will:
- Develop, implement and maintain effective administrative systems, including systems relating to the management of human resources, finances, assets, performance reporting and business processes.
- Provide timely, high-quality advice and support to the manager.
- Manage the business processes relating to the human, financial and physical resources, including preparation of budget forecasts and expenditure, reconciliations and management of accommodation and assets.
- Manage and supervise an administrative team and provide assistance, support and mentoring to administrative staff.
- Participate as a member of the Management Team and contribute to strategic and operational planning, reviews and key decision making.
- Liaise with participants, Departmental officers and other government and non-government organisations as necessary.
- Enhance the local community by actively practicing and promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration and identify opportunities for improving participant service.
- Recognise and contribute to the DSAS Governance Structure, supporting quality outcomes for participants through the delivery of quality services and continuous improvement.
