About The Role
As a Project Officer at the Education Futures Institute (EFI) in Townsville, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering high-quality professional learning programs. This role supports the EFI's mission to empower education professionals through targeted and evidence-informed capability development.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading event management processes, including procurement administration, communications, and negotiations with external partners.
- Coordinating bookings, travel, and financial activities, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
- Liaising with senior management, team members, and external stakeholders to provide high-quality administrative support.
- Managing organisational and executive support functions, including scheduling, communications, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintaining and enhancing administrative systems and processes to maximise service effectiveness.

- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and proactive task management abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Content Manager, and MS Teams; exposure to SAP is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve impactful outcomes.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, equitable, and ethical work environment.
