Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
- Preparation and analysis of routine samples.
- Compliance with analytical methods and quality MS.
- Preparation of standards.
- Calibration, operation and maintenance of analytical instruments.
- Analysis and recording of data/results.
- Collection of field or factory samples.
- Assist chemists in various tasks including minor repairs of equipment.
What you’ll bring to the role
Role
We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in science and a passion for hands-on lab work. To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- A Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (TAFE) or equivalent qualification
- Around 1–2 years of practical laboratory or related industry experience
- Willingness to be flexible with tasks and working hours, including afternoon shifts
