Detailed Job Description
- Project Lead responsible for implementing medium and large external projects for Enterprise and Government customers, specializing in the delivery of IP Data and Telephony solutions.
- Positively manage the customer relationship to monitor and effectively manage any changes to requirements or expectations.
- Gain acceptance of project deliverables by the customer, key client stakeholders and where necessary third party suppliers.
- Engage relevant client resources to ensure the successful delivery of all project requirements.
- Be the single client point of contact for all projects communications, including change management correspondence and status reporting, for all key stakeholders.
- Effectively manage the billing requirements to ensure projects will be billed as per the agreed pricing /contract
- Positively manage changes in scope variations through the successful utilization of a defined change management process.
- Develop, manage and analyze project schedules to ensure project objectives are continuously monitored and meet agreed time frames.
- Identify and resolve project schedule issues and when necessary escalate to the appropriate level of management Cisco Web Security Appliances
- Responsible to define skill sets (competencies) required for the project based on project specifications and requirements.
- Responsible to determine resource requirements (including staffing, software, hardware, and facilities) of projects, based on project specifications.
- Responsible for continually seeking the opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Involved in Planning, Writing, and Executing unit tests with high levels of code coverage and provided educated estimates on change requests and project design and development work
- Led in reviewing internal test strategy and ensuring all system components of the solution are being tested with the appropriate depth of testing i.e. SIT and UAT.
- Ensured that requirements around solution availability, stability, and functionality are sufficiently supported and successful delivery of requirements to Test and Production with minimal post implementation issues
- Contributed to the daily standups, card kick-offs, walkthroughs, and release showcases.
