Description:
- Grow lient's presence across hospitality, retail, and food‑service channels through proactive business development.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and multi‑site customers.
- Identify new business opportunities, convert leads, and expand category penetration across key markets.
- Manage your own territory pipeline, including reporting, forecasting, and tracking sales performance.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and category conversations to support customer needs.
- Provide product knowledge, pricing insights, and support to help partners maximise sell‑through.
- Collaborate with internal teams across operations, customer service, and procurement to support customer outcomes.
- Represent our client at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
- Travel within your region to maintain strong customer and distributor relationships.
Requirements:
- Proven sales or business development experience within hospitality, retail, food‑service, or wholesale channels.
- Strong background selling through distributors and engaging with decision‑makers in hospo/retail environments.
- Commercially focused with strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Able to work autonomously, manage a territory, and drive consistent sales activity.
- Comfortable presenting to customers and supporting them with product knowledge and category guidance.
- Understanding of packaging, consumables, or FMCG‑adjacent industries is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
