Our Career Opportunity


Bailey Abbott has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant to join our Data Intelligence team. Our Business Intelligence Consultants are key to unlocking the power of data, helping our clients make informed decisions based on accurate and actionable insights.


As a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the design and implementation of data and business intelligence (BI) solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Use your business analysis skills and investigative techniques to uncover and articulate gaps, opportunities and alternatives approaches that can lead to greater business value for the client.
  • Transform complex data and requirements into clear, visually impactful data and BI solutions, so clients can make smarter, faster decisions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to consultant team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data and AI technologies and best practices.
  • Conduct project workshops, solution showcases and solution handover sessions for clients.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget.


Requirements


Your skills and experience include:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Consultant or similar role in the field of Data & BI.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Fabric and its various components including Power BI.
  • Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages such as DAX and SQL and experience with Power Query / Power Query M
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, data integration, and data architectures, with a natural drive to understand how things work under the hood.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading and managing project teams, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Relevant certifications in Data & BI or Microsoft technologies are a plus.
