WE'RE HIRING!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our dynamic Club Med Pacific Finance team ! Based in our Sydney CBD office with flexible working arrangements, this role is ideal for a motivated Business or Accounting student or recent graduate looking to build a strong foundation in finance within a global hospitality brand.
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Working closely with the Senior Accountant and Assistant Accountant, you’ll gain hands-on exposure across accounts payable and receivable, treasury, reporting, audits, and month-end processes.

Operational Responsibilities
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, vendor management, and reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records through daily sales system updates and sales report reviews
- Assist with treasury activities, including monitoring daily bank balances and transactions
- Support transportation and expense reporting, including flight ticket reports and employee expense claims
- Contribute to month-end close activities such as journals, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation
- Support the Senior Accountant with ad-hoc finance and accounting projects as required
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Accounting, Business, or Commerce
- Previous accounting or finance experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Strong analytical ability with confidence working with data
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms is an advantage
