Description:

Clinical Project Manager – Australia (Fully Remote in Melbourne) - Clinical Trial Site Network

A growing Australian clinical trials network are looking for a Clinical Project Manager to join them in a full-time, remote role.

This company have multiple established sites, strong patient databases and a really solid track record of delivering studies on time, making project delivery seamless for you!

This will be an interesting, faster pace role – think vaccines, metabolic and cardiovascular disease, women’s health and more – and you’d be leading studies end-to-end across several sites on the east coast. You’d work closely with PIs and site teams, be the main operational contact for sponsors, and have a real say in how things are run as they continue to grow.

Why this one stands out

  • Fully remote in Melbourne, with occasional site and sponsor visits.
  • Strong recruitment engine already in place, so less “firefighting” and more focus on running quality studies well.
  • Access to senior leadership, medical and operational, with genuine input into strategy, feasibility and new site/start-up decisions.
  • Lean, agile environment – minimal red tape, quick decision-making and room to shape processes as they scale.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading planning, start-up, conduct and close-out of Phase 1–4 trials across multiple sites.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for sponsors/CROs and keeping timelines, budgets and expectations on track.
  • Overseeing study plans, risk management and resource allocation.
  • Making sure everything is run to protocol, GCP and local regulatory/ethics requirements.
  • Supporting and mentoring site teams (CRAs/Study Coordinators), and feeding into continuous improvement projects.

Who this would suit

  • 1+ years experience as a CPM, or a strong ACPM ready for that next step, ideally from a site background.
  • Confident with ICH-GCP and Australian ethics/regulatory processes.
  • Someone who enjoys stakeholder management and can build trust quickly with investigators and sponsors.
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable working remotely, with a solutions-focused, “roll up your sleeves” approach.

Title: Clinical Project Manager / CPM
